Just a note to let you know that I have received the Cataplana and Heat Diffuser this morning. I was following the CTT Expresso tracking system this morning; the package was "out for delivery" at 08.35 and then I noticed that it had "arrived" at Mexilhoeira Grande Post Office at 10.07. I got in my jeep and drove up there at top speed to find the courier still there and there was a card in my apartado box. He told me that CTT Expresso always deliver to P.O. Boxes (apartados) here otherwise it would take a week to do what they do in a few hours. We have just unpacked the items and we are very pleased with them. The cataplana looks very well-made and very robust, unlike most of those that I have looked at in shops here (which I think are machine-made mainly as tourist "souvenirs"). My only disappointment is that this is not for us but a birthday present for a dear friend who enjoys cooking cataplana dishes but just uses a pan with a tight-fitting lid; I am sure that she will be delighted with this and my wife thinks that we should buy another one for ourselves, which we will probably do soon.
